ARTICLE X - NCSFA-AAUP Business and Operations

Key points are:

  • The NCSFA-AAUP is recognized as the official bargaining representative of the faculty.

  • The College will provide reasonable access to college services and facilities to conduct official business.

  • College services that are available to the union include access to College rooms and equipment for meetings, use of e-mail, access to members’ mailboxes and use of inter-office mail to communicate NCSFA-AAUP information.

  • The College will provide the Union with designated bulletin boards in NCSC buildings.

  • The College will allow up to 5 minutes at each division meeting to make NCSFAS-AAUP announcements.

  • The College will provide contact information to the NCSFA-AAUP President, at the time of hire of all new collective bargaining unit members.
