  • Graduation regalia provided by the College without cost to the faculty.
  • Holiday time off – see contract for details.
  • Changes in the academic calendar will involve input from the Faculty Caucus.
  • Continued participation in State Teachers Retirement System (STRS) or Alternative Retirement Plan (ARP) following statutory guidelines. The College shall also deduct the faculty member’s statutory contribution on a pre-tax basis. Contribution levels shall be in compliance with and determined by the STRS.
  • Payroll deduction for qualified tax deferred annuity programs.
  • Tuition remission for credit and non-credit courses at the College for faculty members and their immediate family per listed guidelines.
  • Reimbursement of a portion of tuition for faculty members who pursue additional education outside the College from an annual allotment of $40,000 provided for all College employees.
  • Disbursement of the funds will be in equal shares to those who qualify, providing the courses are taken at an accredited college or university and will occur at the end of the fiscal year.
  • 100% reimbursement for College-mandated education for currently employed bargaining unit members. This does not apply to bargaining unit members hired with the condition to complete education within a specific time frame.
  • College to pay for any vaccination, immunization or screening mandated by state law or required by clinical agencies.
